Self-Study AWS SAA-C03?

image.pngHello everyone, I’m the person behind this project. Today I want to share why I sat down and coded an entire website just to... study for an exam AWS SAA-C03.

Anyone who has ever studied for an exam AWS probably understands the feeling: materials are scattered all over the internet, videos YouTube that run for dozens of hours, and documentation for AWS that makes you want to fall asleep after reading it. I was like that too — constantly opening tabs, filling my browser with bookmarks, but not retaining much knowledge.

Then I thought: instead of trying to cram everything into my head from a pile of scattered materials, why not consolidate it all into one place? Learn while coding at the same time — kill two birds with one stone.

The lesson content on this site was personally collected and compiled by me from many different sources — from online courses, materials shared by seniors, community pages about AWS, all the way to Amazon’s official documentation. I read them, filtered them, and then rewrote them in the clearest way possible. It’s not copy-pasted from a single source; it’s gathered from many places and then organized coherently.

And that’s how the idea of this website was born. You can go directly to the link and check it out: https://saa.prometheuslab.io.vn/

What does the website have?

Put simply, this is a knowledge hub SAA-C03, divided into 23 chapters that go from basic to advanced:

  • Starting with AWS Fundamentals, IAM — the most foundational things.
  • Moving through core services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Route 53...
  • To more advanced parts like Serverless, Containers, Security & Encryption.
  • And finally, the chapters I think are very useful for taking the exam: Decision Trees & Keywords, Architecture Patterns, Service Comparisons — these help you "spot" the answer much faster.

For Chapter 22, I even made a Practice Exam with a quiz interface for practicing questions. Finish it and you’ll know right away what’s correct and what’s wrong, with explanations too.

Bilingual English - Vietnamese

The thing I like most about this site (and also the reason I coded it) is that it supports both English and Vietnamese. Just click to switch languages and you’re done.

When I first started learning, I read in Vietnamese to understand the fundamentals first. Once I understood, I switched to English to get used to the keywords — because the exam SAA-C03 is taken in English. I found this approach much more effective than reading while constantly looking up words in a dictionary.

So what about the interface?

I didn’t want to make a site that looks like a copied-and-pasted Word document. The interface was designed to be minimalist and easy to read, with a sidebar for navigating between chapters. It’s responsive, so reading on a phone is fine too.

I also tried to choose a color palette that’s easy on the eyes, because in practice, exam prep often involves reading late at night. No one wants to stare at a blinding white screen at 2 a.m.

Who is it for?

  • You are preparing for the exam AWS SAA-C03 and want a neat place to consolidate knowledge.
  • You want to study in Vietnamese first, then switch to English.
  • Or simply you’re curious about AWS and want to find out what cloud has to offer.

Closing thoughts

I built this project out of a personal need, then thought I’d share it so everyone could use it too. Feel free to visit it freely at https://saa.prometheuslab.io.vn/ if you’d like. If you notice anything wrong or want to give feedback, feel free to report it — there’s a Report button on the site.

Wishing everyone smooth exam prep and passing SAA-C03 on the first try! 🚀
